Mrs. Chellammal

Mrs. Chellammal is a dedicated educator by profession, with over 15 years of experience in leading and nurturing student communities. She holds an M.A. and M.Phil. in Tamil Literature and has maintained a strong and committed association with SEEDS for more than 20 years.

As the President of the SEEDS Board, Mrs. Chellammal has played a pivotal role in guiding the organization with her knowledge, wisdom, and strategic vision. Her leadership has significantly contributed to strengthening the team and ensuring that development initiatives are implemented in a systematic, professional, and impactful manner.

Beyond her role at the board level, she is actively engaged in field-level interventions, with a special focus on women-centred development issues. She is deeply committed to addressing the needs and concerns of women, children, and adolescents. Her strong facilitation skills, combined with her in-depth understanding of community dynamics, serve as a valuable asset to the SEEDS Board and its mission.
