Fellowship Opportunities at SEEDS

The Social Education Economical Development Society (SEEDS) offers dynamic and impactful fellowship opportunities for individuals who are committed to creating meaningful change in society. The SEEDS Fellowship Programme is designed to nurture passionate and socially driven individuals by providing them with an immersive platform to engage in grassroots development work.

The fellowship is ideal for young professionals, graduates, and development practitioners who aspire to deepen their understanding of rural development, social justice, and community empowerment through hands-on experience.

Programme Overview

The SEEDS Fellowship provides a unique opportunity to work closely with rural and marginalized communities across regions such as Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, and Odisha. Fellows are placed within ongoing projects and are actively involved in the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of development initiatives.

This experiential learning model enables fellows to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and field realities while contributing meaningfully to community development efforts.

Duration of Fellowship

Short-Term Fellowship 1 to 3 Months
Extended Fellowship 3 to 12 Months (based on performance and mutual agreement)

Eligibility

Graduates, postgraduates, and doctoral candidates in Agriculture, Social Work (MSW), Rural Development, and related fields
Candidates from other disciplines with a strong interest in community development and social impact
Individuals with a demonstrated commitment to working with marginalized communities

A Transformative Journey

The SEEDS Fellowship is more than just a professional engagement—it is a journey of learning, service, and transformation. It empowers individuals to become change-makers who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to contribute towards building an inclusive, equitable, and sustainable society.
