S.D. PANDIAN

Mr. S. D. Pandian (a follower of Gandhian thoughts and a volunteer of the Sarvodaya Movement) ushered in rural revolution with special focus on agriculture and small and marginal farmers as well as to bring about inclusive growth in women, children and the vulnerable. Having been a tireless worker and to strengthen his services to the community, Mr. S. D. Pandian envisioned SEEDS (Social Education Economical Development Society) and registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act 27 of 1975 in 1995 for the economic and social development of the vulnerable and the farming communities on a sustainable basis. From his humble initiative and assiduous determination SEEDS has grown to a fully-fledged professional organization providing cutting edge services creating large scale impact in the rural areas and changing the lives of thousands of farmers in the project area. Joining hands with the Government, corporate houses and other stakeholders to implement the core programs, Mr. Pandian through his organization has been successfully addressing local challenges of agriculture and rural development through multi-pronged approaches and targeted interventions. During this journey of more than two and a half decades he designed at elevating the acquaintance and observed in empowering the Community Based Organizations, so that they could position themselves to mitigate the challenges encountered by them in their Socio – Economic progress.

PROJECT HEAD

S.PANDIARAJ

A Post Graduate in Plant Science and a Diploma holder in Micro Finance with a vast professional working experience of 27 years under various domains. He is an expert in Agricultural Technology and Community based Projects Management. He has been in association with SEEDS since September 2017 and is performing as a Project Head for the enduring projects of SEEDS NGO. Earlier in his career he had driven with SPIC Agro Biotech Centre, based at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and had served with a few reputed NGOs in Tamil Nadu, the KTL (Kalanjium Thozhilagam Limited) Madurai, Tamil Nadu a people institution operating with business-based community organizations and had functioned with Microfinance & Natural Resource Management projects of Hand in Hand India based at Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu and later on functioned as a State specialist for World Bank funded Rural Development Project –Tamil Nadu Pudhu Vaazhvu Project ( TNPVP), Chennai.

S.DHARMA NEETHI
Manager

A Master of Science in Rural Development with 30 years of vast experience in NGO management, Program planning, fundraising, implementation and evaluation of human rights projects. He had pioneered the process of incorporating the monograms of father and mother prefixing Mother’s monogram prior to Father’s in the birth certificate which became prevalent among societal campaigners and was virtual state wide. He also achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Law and was auxiliary for the deprived community to acquire righteousness in contrast to Exploitation. Out of his passion towards agrobusiness he indorsed an Integrated Farm and an Agri – export business company and conquered the dexterity in Agricultural trade correlated events. He pursued a diploma in acupuncture and electro homeopathy and provided consultancy at a minimised cost to the deprived community. He had endured various trainers’ trainings through reputed organizations in India and had made his presence available at the International Resource Mobilization Workshop systematized in Sri Lanka. As an extramural aptitude he is a virtuous vocalist, a stage performer and the best high-flier in the Guinness Book of World Record for performing street play incessantly and was bestowed with the significant “Bharathi Puraskar” Award.

A dynamic agricultural development professional with 30 + years of experience in Agricultural sectors and reputed NGOs in India. Expertise in organic farming, Watershed management, agricultural intervention in watershed projects, cultivation under controlled conditions in poly house, natural soil and water conservation techniques, IoT based smart irrigation system and climate smart agriculture. Familiar and well conversant with the concept of crop production by organic and chemical methods, soil, water and land resources management, integrated farming system, integrated weed, pest and disease management, farm mechanization and mounting an Eco- friendly environment and climate proofing in agriculture’. Backed by solid credentials and proficiencies in executing required agricultural & horticultural system interventions, providing organic agricultural knowledge to farmers and farm workers and handling all the farming activities from seed to harvest of all crops. An effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, analytical logical thinking and negotiation skills, Self-driven, flexibility and ability to take independent responsibility and thrive in a challenging environment. Capable to render the technical skills to accomplish the works anticipated, reporting on the ongoing project activities and proposal inscription.
