Global agriculture has been affected by erratic weather conditions, the continued use of chemical fertilizers, the emergence of pesticide-resistant diseases, weeds and insects. In the light of these circumstances, many large corporations as purchasers of agricultural products have recognized the need for sustainable development in sourcing locations. By applying scientific and technological innovations, Syncom Agritech is bringing organic farming into a new era, enabling them to support the sustainable sourcing of raw materials for many companies.

A momentous partnership has been developed between Syncom Agritech and TSI HOLDINGS, a global leader in fashion entertainment. This collaboration marks a significant step towards fostering sustainable practices in the organic cotton industry with a saying, Field to Fashion.

Syncom is an Agritech company which focuses on organic cultivation and trade of cotton. It employs next gen tech to minimize the environmental hazards of farming and promote traceability.

With fluctuation in prices, cotton farmers are reportedly holding back cotton and daily market arrivals remain lower than the last cotton season. To recompense the situation Syncom Agritech had agreed to target to a failsafe price of Rs. 100 / Kg of cotton.

Stakeholders:

An MOU has been signed with The American College in Madurai for the provision of an internship programme.
