Strategic Objective

  • Reaching 60000 peoples who involved through SHGs Movement, unorganized women labour trade union, farmers producers organizations and financial inclusion.
  • Undertaking Watershed Program under NABARD in five panchayat over 12 villages covering about 1500 farmers in 2670 hectares of land.
  • Promoting Farmers clubs and established them into Farmers Producer Companies & the first one was initiated on December 2014. Now there are 11 no. of FPOs promoted in 8 Districts till the date.
  • SEEDS got a empanelment as a Producer Organization (FPO) Promoting Institution (POPI) to cover eight districts by NABARD.
  • Empowering Elected Women Representatives (EWRs) in associating with The Hunger Project (THP) in 4 blocks in Virudhunagar and Ramanathapuram districts
  • Running Customer Service Points in association with State Bank of India at 80 villages in 3 blocks 14 village Panchayat since 2011.
  • Rural Distributor by TATA Global Beverages limited – Promotion of Tea sales in 12 Districts in Tamil Nadu.
  • Poverty reduction through SHGs Micro Credit Programme with Govt. and other financial institutions.
  • Empowerment of women artisans in hand embroidery associated with ministry of Handicraft, govt. of India.
  • School support programme.
